We appreciate that each stage of every project can have an impact on the environment and the quality of life of its users. Therefore we have developed a policy to embed sustainable thinking into the company’s culture. We work closely with our clients and suppliers to deliver more sustainable surveying solutions, relevant to the unique context of each project.

We are also an official participant in the United Nations Global Compact – the world’s largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative. This is a strong demonstration of our commitment to advancing the tenets of corporate sustainability and the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact.

Supporting local and global initiatives is highly valued in the company’s goals and values; benefiting the community, staff morale and the company as a whole. Our selected charity for 2013 was The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation, also known as Crumlin Children’s Hospital, for whom we have already raised over €13,150.

We are also the main sponsor for Kilcullen Cycling Club for 12 years, a group based in the region of our Irish head office.

Our commitment to health and safety for our staff, clients and members of the public is to the fore of our company policy.

We recognise that people are the company’s greatest asset, and we are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our staff. We currently employ more than 100 permanent staff. We have heavily invested in training for all staff, including Managing Safely in the Workplace, Safe Pass, Confined Spaces and CSCS. We are the first surveying company to receive the Safe T Cert.

With regard to places of work, equipment and procedures, our staff members are totally committed to safety. Directors, surveyors and our Health and Safety Manager share ideas and experiences to actively develop a positive safety culture within the company.

Our Health and Safety Policy is reviewed annually and amended as necessary taking into consideration changes in legislation and work practices. A copy of the policy in full is available upon request.
