Survey Requirements
The client required a detailed model of a dense network of pipes in order to enable the designers to clear out obsolete pipes and retain key services as part of the retrofit.
Murphy Surveys were required to scan the entire facility and create a full colour point cloud for use with Pointools. We were also required to produce a 3D AutoCAD Solid Model with all piping and equipment geo-tagged.
Survey Specifications
Murphy Surveys established site control using 1201 Total Station and DNA 03 Digital Level.
